It’s not Christmas yet, but to avoid last year’s late shenanigans, we’re preparing for the 2022 Scotch Club Advent Calendar sooner than later. In 2020 we partnered with Duncan Taylor to feature their line. Last year we purchased from The Whisky Exchange in London where our boxes famously sat for three weeks. This year, we’ll partner IN PART with Shand imports for half of the samples and let Scotch Club pick the rest from whatever catches our eye. For those unfamiliar with last year’s selection, let’s just say our selection puts the corporate advent calendars to shame… you know, the ones that bottle the bottom shelf at Bevmo. Our selection will be fun and new (no repeats from past years.)
As with 2020, we will have a video reveal posted each day. Because many of you already have the cloth calendars, this year we’ll have it as an add-on purchase rather than assume you need one. They will be $20 shipped.
Unlike last year, the IRS is now counting sales off the website as income, so we will be doing free RSVPs (so that I have your shipping address in the system) and then requesting you send $199 via Venmo to @drammer, or Paypal FF to [email protected]. Checks accepted, but please email for that.
As with previous years, we will have to cut off the sales eventually to purchase the exact sets needed to fill the orders. Last year, we ordered four of each bottle but still had late orders we had to turn down, so PLEASE RSVP ASAP so we can get these ordered and in on time.
