A Fun Flight: Auchentoshan American Oak is a righteous dram! In it, you will find your favorite (along with Three Wood) triple-distilled malt. Glencadam 2003 Vintage is a 13-year-old special release to commemorate the re-commissioning of Glencadam that was mothballed from 2000 to 2013, 13-years. Kininvie is a scare single malt. You tasted a young Kininvie in Monkey Shoulder, but let’s try this 17-year-old dram. We’ll follow on with a 24-year-old Fettercairn distilled in 1993 and bottled at cask strength 51.5%: yum! Although Laphroaig Cairdeas is stronger (51.8%) than Ardbeg Blaaack (46%), we will taste them in that order based on Ardbeg’s pungent flavor profile.
