Islay (Distillery) Exclusive San Diego

We have an exceptional tasting coming up on Saturday August 1st at 6pm at Bernie’s in Rancho Bernardo.  All of our tastings are special, but this one is extra special because one of our very valued members, Melissa L, brought back all the bottles featured from Scotland to share with the club!  These are all Scotland exclusives and 8 Islay distillery bottlings at that.

Per usual at Bernie’s, we will have meticulously smoked pulled pork and sides (veggie or alternative options available on email request) along with a delicious dessert.  Email us if you have any questions about food or the event.  The address will be given to attendees.

Ardbeg Dolce 2026 Feis Ile Release: Cue the Smoke, inspired by 1960’s Italian cinema, matured in Sicilian Marsala wine casks and classic bourbon casks. 47.8%

Bunnahabhain Warehouse 9 Hand fill exclusive: 2019 Amontillado cask aged. 59.5%

Caol Ila Feis Ila 2025 Release: 8 year natural cask strength, finished in toasted Colombian Oak – Quercus Humboltii. 57.8%

Kilchoman 2026 Tour Edition: Mezcal cask matured. 50%

Bruichladdich Biodynamic Project: 10 year, first release. Biodynamic barley from carbon-zero Yatesbury Farm House. 50%

Port Charlotte Valinch BC:10 2012 Distillery Exclusive. 62%

SMWS The Five Regions Release, batch 31, release 2025. Blended 11 year old. Aged in bourbon, oloroso, PX, and HTMC hogsheads. 50%
