Isle of Arran w/Mariella Romano

Denver welcomes Mariella Romano the GLOBAL brand ambassador visiting us from overseas. Mariella will be sharing the story of the Lochranza distillery, whose whisky is named after its Hebridean home, the Isle of Arran. We’ll also try samples from the new Lagg
distillery. They aren’t sold in America yet, so we’ll be the first to try them!

About Mariella:

Home for Mariella Romano is the sunny, southern part of Italy, however she decided to move all the way up to Scotland to follow her love for Whisky and to live as close as possible to the source of the Water of Life. After a number of years working in different parts of the industry, her dream came true when she was appointed Global Brand Ambassador for the Arran Single Malt in early 2019. Her excitement doubled later in the year when Lagg Distillery ran its stills for the first time and, since then, she has championed this new brand and watched it grow from new make spirit to a fine Single Malt. You can now find her travelling around the world, sharing a dram and her passion for whisky as she spreads the good word of these two wonderful distilleries far and wide.
