“Back from Scotland” On a monthly basis, Metro Atlanta Scotch Club(August 2011) conducts an official whisky tasting at an area venue. Typically, MASC hosts more frequent tasting events, most of which areopen to our members. Let’s begin with a 10-year-old Dailuaine 43% ABV offering from Gordon & Macphail. The 1852 distillery has evolved into a 5.2 million litres of pure alcohol per year producer. Armorik is the best French single malt. We will taste its Double Maturation, a 46% bottling.

How is Glenrothes 1995 vintage single malt? I bought 3 bottles; this is my last one. Now I urge you to discover Edradour single malt. I’ve chosen its 10-year flagship, a 43% ABV bottling. GlenAllachie’s 10-year expression will command your attention as it is a batch strength bottling at 57.1% ABV. Our final dram will also be a good one: Lagavulin 12-year, a 2018 release at 57.8% ABV.
