A Summer’s Swan Song Soiree

As the Scotch calendar lists September-thru-March as the unofficial whisky season, let’s have a dandy pre-season dramming session.
Waterford’s The Cuvée is a vatting of 25 of its organic Irish single malts, each of the expressions was based on the crop of a single farm with each farm’s soil type agroecologically paired with the ideal Irish heirloom barley variety.
Prichard’s is a top-tier American craft distillery. We will try its American single malt. What’s my favorite 13-Yr single malt? That would be Craigellachie.
Awesome, a must have! Suntory Global’s malt master and I were once asked our favorite Beam-Suntory (now Suntory Global) single malt: we both answered Glen Garioch, thus forsaking Ardmore, Auchentoshan, Bowmore and Laphroaig).
Fettercairn is the most disrespected Highland single malt. Let’s work on correcting that injustice. I like Ardbeg and my favorite expression is its Uigeadail, which is finished in Oloroso casks.
