Soon Scotland Bound

Before we head out, let’s try some of the newer
bottles that I’ve acquired. We will begin with Glenmorangie 10-Year, The
Original, bottled at 40% ABV. Campbeltown Loch is a blended malt made
up of Springbank (Hazelburn, Springbank & Longrow), Kilkerran (Glengyle),
and Glen Scotia single malt whiskies. Next is the prototypical Highland
single malt, Glen Garioch 12-Year, bottled at 48% ABV. It is a treasure to be
discovered. From the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, Linkwood 12-Year, a
2006 vintage single cask bottled at cask strength 59.5% ABV. It’s a
bourbon-bomb aged in first-fill Bourbon and virgin American white oak
casks. Torabhaig is up next. We will try the Allt Gleann from its Legacy
series. It is moderately peated and bottled at 46% without chill filtration.
Our final dram is the Kilmory Edition of Lagg Single Malt, bottled at 46%. It
is also moderately peated. So, do join us and bring a friend, because “good
