Quest for Whisky with Ed Kohl

Dare to Dram? Our lineup is most promising as the six expressions match up nicely. Heart of Speyside from BenRiach’s is a fine aperitif dram! Glenlivet’s Triple Cask Matured is next. It’s aged in a combo of bourbon, sherry and refill casks. GlenAllachie 12 is matured in a mixture of virgin oak, Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and is awesome. Yes, we have been holding out on you: Amrut Naarangi is da bomb. Wolfburn’s Langskip is matured  exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks and is bottled at a generous 58% ABV, making it a particularly powerfully flavorsome dram.

And, for a big close, the Port Askaig: 110-Proof. Hailing from Caol Ila, possibly the greatest and definitely the largest of Islay’s 9 active distilleries, PA-110 is bottled at an attention gathering 55% ABV.  We hope that you are able to join us and bring a friend.
