Rumor has it as having been made by Heaven Hill during those days past in which Willett wasn’t distilling. Who cares? It’s a delicious 101-proofer at only $40 a bottle! \nFour Roses Single Barrel Bourbon; thank you Sean Daily @ Rootstock. \nLeopold Brothers Maryland Rye is one of the two late 18th century rye styles. It features ‘malted barley grain’ rather than the ‘malted rye grain’ used in Monongahela aka Pennsylvania Rye. Thus\, MD rye is sweeter and more\ approachable. (Leopold Bros. made a large batch of PA rye in 2017 and will release in or about 2025.) \nHigh West A Midwinter Night’s Dram is a genuine super star! Weller is a must sought after wheated Bourbon as its Mashbill substitutes wheat instead of the standard rye grain component. Boone County 1833 is a fine 10-year Bourbon bottled at almost 91-proof. In Chattanooga\, we discovered its top-selling J.W. Kelly Melrose Rye. Our bottle was finished in a former Amarone red wine cask of Spanish red oak. Old Bardstown is a sourced-Bourbon bottled by Willett Distillery. Rumor has it as having been made by Heaven Hill. Who cares? It’s a delicious 101-proofer at only $40 a bottle! Our Knob Creek is a single barrel\, barrel proof Bourbon selected/bottled for Vintage Bottle Shop in Acworth. DESCRIPTION:It’s a World Tour (without roadies)! \nHailing from Canada\, Collingwood blended whisky is distilled at the Canadian Mist Distillery in Collingwood\, a resort town circa100-miles north of Toronto in Ontario. After an initial aging in oak\, it’s finished in a Maplewood stave vat. Singleton of Glendullan is made in Dufftown\, Scotland\, where it’s matured in a combination of Bourbon and Sherry casks. Born in Brittany\, France\, Armorik is a top-quality single malt. I just love the stuff! Our American entry is a New York Straight Bourbon with a lovely name: Taconic Dutchess Private Reserve. \nThe subcontinent’s Amrut Fusion is our candidate from India. Ireland-born\, Connemara is an Irish whiskey exception: double-distilled\, moderately peated and bottled at cask strength. Hailing from just up the road\, Tamdhu is the Speyside delegate in MacLeod’s regional single malt range… it’s a sherry bomb! Ex-patriot Steve Lipp (now living in 90210) bottles Highland Queen 15-Yr for Total Wine. He won’t say what it is; I’m guessing it’s Tomatin. Billy Walker’s GlenAllachie distillery has been winning most of the major awards the past 2 years… you will discover the reason when you taste his 18-year single malt. Our second MacLeod elixir is the famed Smokehead which is from the Island region rather than from Islay (it’s likely Ledaig from Tobermory distillery on Mull). It is the darling of the Chivas Bros. distilleries and one that you need to get to know. \nHailing from Brittany\, France\, Armorik Double Maturation has been aged in 2 types of casks.  It’s an excellent new single malt. \nCotswolds was brought to live by American Dan Szor and the late James Swan\, Ph.D. Without question\, it’s the best English malt distillery and one to keep an eye on. \nBattlehill?  Yes\, Peter Currie has done it again: Bunnahabhain 6 cask strength is great!
