SUMMARY:Duncan Taylor Zooming in Micro-Groups
DESCRIPTION:NOTE:  Time is 6:30pm PACIFIC\, 7:30 MOUNTAIN\, 9:30 EASTERN \nWell\, life is starting more toward normal but it’s not there yet.  We’re going to try something new and fun.  Perhaps your not ready to pack into a tight space with 40 people\, but are you ready to host 3 or 4 friends at your home?  We are going to have at least 1 set for each of the Scotch Clubs around the country.  Sets will contain 3oz. of each scotch to be divided 4 or 5 ways (your choice.) \nYOU\, the buyer will be responsible\, for finding 3 or4 friends (preferably club members) and a site to dram at (doesn’t have to be your home.)  Where you meet\, if/how you social distance\,  how you divvy the scotch and cost\, is all up to you\, but we do need your group to zoom in with rest of the groups and enjoy the presentation by Duncan Taylor’s Peter Currie. \nA little quick math will show this is $20-$25 per head.   Great deal! \n________________________________________________________________ \nPlease DO NOT use the Paypal option for this one.  Use direct credit card option via Stripe. \n________________________________________________________________ \nPER DUNCAN TAYLOR’S WEBSITE: \nOctave Invigorated Whiskies \n\n\nFor upwards of 40 years the team at Duncan Taylor has experimented by maturing whiskies in smaller casks with great success. \n\n\n\nOur research stemmed from the simple premise that there is more wood interaction with whisky over a shorter period of time in a small cask than in a large cask\, therefore allowing a more rapid melding of wood\, air and alcohol. \nAfter a second maturation the octave casks have refined the whisky\, enhancing its hue\, taste\, form and character. The flavour profile is gently expanded\, a little more sophisticated with the commanding presence of a mature\, well-balanced Scotch Whisky. \nThey have become ‘Octave Invigorated™. \nThe Octave Collection is extensive with something for all tastes\, be it a single malt\, a single grain or a blended malt whisky. Featured distilleries include Aultmore\, Bhunnahabhain\, Brackla\, Caol Ila\, Glenallachie\, Glen Moray\, Highland Park\, Miltonduff and Tobermory. \n\n

SUMMARY:Dare to Dram
DESCRIPTION:Dare to Dram? \nOur lineup is most promising as the six expressions matchup nicely. Heart of Speyside from BenRiach’s is a fine aperitif dram! \nGlenlivet’s Triple Cask Matured is next. It’s aged in a combo of bourbon\, sherry and refill casks. \nGlenAllachie 12 is matured in a mixture of virgin oak\, Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and is awesome. \nYes\, we have been holding out on you: Amrut Naarangi is da bomb. Wolfburn’s Langskip is matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks and is bottled at a generous 58% ABV\, making it a particularly powerfully flavorsome dram. \nAnd\, for a big close\, a favorite Port Askaig: 110-Proof. Hailing from Caol Ila\, possibly the greatest and definitely the largest of Islay’s 9 active distilleries\, PA-110 is bottled at an attention gathering 55% ABV. I hope that you are able to join us and bring a friend. Why? Because “good whisky is made great when shared among friends.” \nWHISKY MENU: \n\nBENRIACH Single Malt / ‘Heart of Speyside’ (Classic range) /\nNAS / 40% ABV / OB / Dist Owner: Brown-Forman Scotland Ltd\n(Brown-Forman Corp./The Brown Family) / Speyside (Lossie)\n. SUMMARY:SDSC - Rhum Ron Rum San Diego
DESCRIPTION:-REAL LIFE\, HONEST-TO-GOD\, NON-ONLINE EVENT (PRIVATE RESIDENCE) \nNo\, this won’t be on Zoom.  We will not be doing this online (offline\, non-line\, hmm) \nWe’ll be visiting the land of high proof (AKA Corona-proof) rums. How high? Well the highest got nabbed by TSA for being over HAZMAT. Not a joke. They declared it a fire hazard and confiscated it. \n“Think rum\, think Caribbean\, think 90-degrees” Rum is a spirit that’s distilled either from fermented molasses (a by-product from sugar refining making) or freshly-pressed sugar cane juice. Because of its base material\, molasses-based rums generally have a sweet note and flavors of molasses\, banana and tropical fruit (their complexity is ramped up by aging them in barrels)\, while those made with sugar cane juice (like rhum agricole and Cachaça) have pronounced grassy and vegetal notes. Rum is made in sugar cane producing countries\, especially those in the Caribbean. Very aged versions are generally sipped neat\, while unaged and lesser aged spirits are mixed in classic Tiki and modern cocktails. \nPlantation owners first discovered that molasses fermented into alcohol. Later\, distillation of the alcoholic brew concentrated the alcohol and removed impurities\, producing the first true rums. Tradition suggests that rum first originated on the island of Barbados. \nThis will be at a private home in Coronado Village. Address will be sent to attendees.

SUMMARY:Glenfiddich Distillery Tour and Tasting - seven 1oz samples
DESCRIPTION:The Virtual Clubhouse is going to go on a Virtual Distillery Tour to Scotland\, courtesy of Glenfiddich.  Join us for as Allan Roth takes us to Scotland and the Glenfiddich distillery itself\, and we don’t even have to leave our living room.  Afterwards\, we’ll drink some scotch: \n  \nSPECIAL EVENT BOTTLES \nGlenfiddich 1973 Single Cask No. 9875 33yr \nThis event will include the extremely rare Glenfiddich valued (and costing the club) in the thousands. \n \nGlenfiddich 12 – ’90s version \nThis collectible bottle has been sitting in its bottle for 25 years waiting for… this event.  For fun\, let’s see how the expression has changed over 2 or 3 decades. \nGlenfiddich Cask Sample \nThis unofficial cask sample is from Allan Roth’s collection.  Only he knows what it is. \n  \nCORE RANGE BOTTLES (as described on their website) \nGlenfiddich 12 (current version) \nFlowing in the Valley of the Deer since 1887\, our family’s signature expression is the world’s most awarded single malt Scotch whisky*. \nWith a unique freshness from the same Highland spring water we’ve used since 1887\, its distinctive fruitiness comes from the high cut point William Grant always insisted upon. \nCarefully matured in the finest American oak and European oak sherry casks for at least 12 years\, it is mellowed in oak marrying tuns to create its sweet and subtle oak flavours. \nCreamy with a long\, smooth and mellow finish\, our 12 Year Old is the perfect example of Glenfiddich’s unique Speyside style and is widely proclaimed the best dram in the valley. \nGlenfiddich 15 \nExemplifying our family’s tradition of innovation\, our 15 Year Old expression is created using a technique pioneered by our Malt Master and its warm\, spicy flavours are transformed with the alchemy of the Solera Vat. \nAged in European oak sherry casks and new oak casks\, the whisky is mellowed in our unique Solera Vat\, a large oak tun inspired by the sherry bodegas of Spain and Portugal. \nNever emptied\, and kept half full of whiskies since 1998\, our Solera Vat is the culmination of curious minds and the pioneering spirit of our family. It’s also the secret behind this whisky becoming the first 15 year old expression to enter the top ten best selling single malts. \nGlenfiddich The Original  – 1963 Inspired \nInspired by the pioneering spirit of Sandy Grant Gordon\, this historic expression is a recreation of the original 1963 Glenfiddich Straight Malt that started the single malt category. \nOur Malt Master\, Brian Kinsman\, recreated the Original 1963 from our unrivalled collection of aged whiskies with the recipe uncovered from the Glenfiddich family archives. \nWhile most whiskies today mature in oak\, sherry casks were more prominent in 1963. The result\, then and now\, is a spirit contrasting many of our other expressions. \nThe aroma is floral with the hallmark Glenfiddich pear\, followed by lively fruit notes\, biscuity with a soft vanilla oakiness and deliciously dry finish. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Glenfiddich Distillery Tour and Tasting #2
DESCRIPTION:The Virtual Clubhouse is going to go on a Virtual Distillery Tour to Scotland\, courtesy of Glenfiddich.  Join us for the higher-end version of this event on June 11th as Allan Roth takes us to Scotland and the Glenfiddich distillery itself\, and we don’t even have to leave our living room.  Afterwards\, we’ll drink some scotch: \n  \nSPECIAL EVENT BOTTLES \nGlenfiddich 21yr Gran Reserva Cuban Cask \nThis is the older version of the 21yr that no longer uses “Cuban” in it because that drew too many issues from US authorities. \nGlenfiddich 30yr – Blue Label \nThis is the older version of the 30yr from the ’90s presented to the poets at the 2014 LASC Burns Supper that was so good that by the end of the night\, the poems were all about this bottle.  Epic. \nGlenfiddich Cask Sample \nThis unofficial cask sample is from Allan Roth’s collection.  Only he knows what it is. \n  \nCORE RANGE BOTTLES (as described on their website) \nGlenfiddich 14yr \nThink a bourbon heart can’t hold a single malt soul? Our 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve delivers the smooth sophistication of Scotland with the sweet kick of Kentucky. \nOur Malt Master\, Brian Kinsman\, waits 14 years as the whisky matures in ex-bourbon American Oak casks. He then finishes the whisky in charred new American Oak barrels supplied by The Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville\, Kentucky. \nThe result is a rich\, sweet and vibrant single malt that delivers complex flavours of woody spices with ripe summer fruit. It’s an expression that will inspire Scotch and bourbon lovers alike\, to Rethink Whisky. SUMMARY:BenRiach/GlenDronach/Glenglassaugh with Stewart Buchanan - six 1oz minis
DESCRIPTION:Brown-Forman\, the parent company who owns BenRiach\, GlenDronach\, and Glenglassaugh must like Denver. We are getting a special ZOOM event featuring the GLOBAL AMBASSADOR Stewart Buchanan. Steward will be connecting with us in the UK\, so this will be an early event for us\, 2pm\, because it will be late there. The club voted to try all of their brands\, so we’ll be doing 2 of each. The original lineup included two different BenRiach 10s\, but we thought you deserved a 21yr Temporis and they agreed. \nCan’t leave your house without dying? We’ve got that covered. As this is a ZOOM event\, the package will be delivered to your doorstep. All you have to is grab a glass\, dress from the waist up\, and join us on any device connected to the internet. The price for SIX ounces of single malts… $20. See you there. \n

SUMMARY:Breaking Out
DESCRIPTION:  \nThis will be good fun! Our whisky is breaking out of the lock down\, so let’s help it escape. The Glenlivet’s Founder’s Reserve is a delightful aperitif-style dram. Hailing from just up the road\, Tamdhu is the Speyside delegate in MacLeod’s regional single malt range… it’s a sherry bomb! Ex-patriot Steve Lipp (now living in 90210) bottles Highland Queen 15-Yr for Total Wine. He won’t say what it is; I’m guessing it’s Tomatin. Billy Walker’s GlenAllachie distillery has been winning most of the major awards the past 2 years… you will discover the reason when you taste his 18-year single malt. Our second MacLeod elixir is the famed Smokehead which is from the Island region rather than from Islay (it’s likely Ledaig from Tobermory distillery on Mull). Ardbeg Drum is a 52% ABV release by The Ardbeg Committee. \nWe hope to see you at Maxwell’s Cigar Bar in Woodstock… and do bring a friend as “good whisky is made great when shared among friends.”  Sláinte! \n

SUMMARY:A Trip to Speyside with K&L -1oz minis
DESCRIPTION:—6PM PACIFIC TIME— \nThe Virtual Clubhouse will be opening its doors to the world on April 19th\, 6pm PACIFIC. Our first 3 tastings sold out in hours. We didn’t event email the events out! When you put us all together Scotch Club has a lot of thirsty (and quarantine-bored) drammers. So this time we’re going to try to include everyone. This is going to be a really big\, really awesome virtual tasting. We are going to guarantee the first 46 people to purchase this event. After that\, we’ll do a waitlist and will buy a another set of bottles if we reach another 23 buyers. So what are we going to drink? \nWell we can’t go to Speyside during the quarantine\, so K&L Wine and Spirits is going to go there for us.  For those east of California\, K&L Wine & Spirits is one of the biggest retail purchasers of private casks in the country.  The K&L Exclusives are tasted and selected in Scotland and are typically bottled at cask strength.  There are typically only 150-300 bottles in a single cask selection\, so when their gone\, their gone forever.  For those new to scotch that may have no idea about the names you are looking at\, trust us\,  if you like scotch\, you will love these. \nEach virtual attendee will have SIX one oz. minis mailed to their doorstep. Here’s the list\,which includes a $400 sherried Caperdonich that you’ve been meaning to try\, right? \n\nCaperdonich 1995 24yr “Chieftain’s”\nBraes of Glenlivet (Braeval) 29yr “Sovereign Wax Top”\nMortlach 9yr “Old Malt Cask”\nAllt-a-Bhainne 1995 23yr “Old Particular”\nDailuaine 2007 12yr “Old Particular”\nGlenburgie 1998 21yr “Old Particular”\n\nThe price to your doorstep (USA) is just $55.  David OG of K&L may even drop by to talk to us about the trip to pick the barrels.  This event\, as with our other Zoom events will be semi-blind which means your whisky will be coded with the reveal at the end of the tasting.  See you in cyberspace!

SUMMARY:Founders' Membership - Metro Atlanta Scotch Club
DESCRIPTION:For those at the “Taste of History” on March 6th\, Andy Smith discussed “Scotch Club”\, the network of clubs across the country of which MASC is a part. Beginning with the original club (LA Scotch Club)\, we have also offered Official Lifetime Memberships. Official members have add benefits above what is generally offer to the public. Some of these benefits are: \n-Reciprocity between the LA\, OC\, SD\, San Francisco\, and Denver Scotch Clubs\n-May attend ‘member-only’ meetings (where we have rarer scotch or when event has limited seating)\n-Access to our Wine-searcher.com PRO account-\n-VIP member bottles at Peatin’ Meetin’\n-Access to the 250mL Club’s private market\n-Access to the Club Member Facebook pages\n-Advance notice to official members ahead of the general email for limited ticket events that are likely to sell out. \nOfficial members will be put on a separate mailing list and will have access to the non-public member page. An addition to being a member of MASC\, you will also be a member of Scotch Club\, so in any city with a scotch club\, you will be considered a member for all events. This includes the annual Scotch Club festival\, Peatin’ Meetin’ in Los Angeles\, where we will have a special member hour\, and steep ticket discounts for those travelling from the east. Although our club memberships are normally available to all those who have attended 3 events and pay the annual lifetime fee\, whenever a club first opens doors to official membership\, we start with a FOUNDERS’ MEMBERSHIP. In this case\, we are lowering the price to $100 and offering a set of 6 MASC laser-etched ‘Lord of the Malt’ Glencairn glasses\, and also a certificate of club membership. \nNew this week\, Scotch Club has obtained an official Zoom account and has begun mailing minis for online whisky tastings for members only. Join Scotch Club drammers wherever we may be in the world! \nThis purchase is currently set up as an event because it is the easiest way to route the payments to Atlanta (rather than California). The Founders Membership begins April 4 and runs for exactly one week.

SUMMARY:Gentlemen Prefer Blends - Online Zoom Tasting - 1oz. minis
DESCRIPTION:5pm PST\nThe garage must be cleared of leftover event scotch\, and this online zoom tasting in the Scotch Club Virtual Clubhouse will be priced to sell at a hefty loss.  Your gain! \n\nWhy. I. Never! \nThe twits of the upper class are perturbed. High End blends have traditionally been a mainstay of the shelves of those with more money than sense. They are the folks that will judge a whisky by the bottle it’s in. The gaudier the better. They don’t really like drinking scotch\, but they like the idea that they like to drink scotch. Many of these blends are made “smooth”\, so as not to disturb the drinker with scotch that may taste too much like scotch. We\, here in Scotch Club scoff at them. We NEVER buy them. \nBut you have to admit\, you’re curious\, aren’t you? \nSure\, we’ve seen them in the glass cases at duty free… lurking in crystal splendor above a thousand dollar price tag. You’d never buy a bottle of course\, but you’d like to try a sip\, wouldn’t you? Just for scientific purposes and all that\, right? \nJohnnie Walker \nHow could we not? The reigning whisky sales champ sells millions of bottles to watering holes all over the world\, but they also have rare limited editions in packaging fit for a queen with prices also fit for a queen. \nJohnnie Walker Excelsior – This bottle was released in 1997 and claims to be made of whisky of around 50 years old (make what you will of that.) If so\, then this whisky was distilled in the ’40s and ’50s. Approx. value – $1000 \nJohnnie Walker King George V – This top shelf liquor store mainstay is that first step beyond Johnnie Blue. Approx. value – $500 \nJohnnie Walker Private Collection 2014 –  Like the Excelsior\, this limited edition is no longer made. Master Blender Jim Beveridge handpicked 29 casks from experimental stocks to create this blend.  The 2014 edition was made to emphasize ‘smokiness”.  Approx. value – $850 \nRoyal Salute \nI love the Chivas Brothers Royal Salute series. It’s flavorful and pleasant. It has some of the easiest sippers on the planet and is the baby of Master Blender Colin Scott\, perhaps one of the nicest people on the planet. \nRoyal Salute 21 – While it’s lower pricetag doesn’t quite match that of the rest of the lineup\, the whisky does. Approx. value – $180 \nRoyal Salute Stone of Destiny 38 – Now we’re talking. This blend prompted me to shake Master Blender Colin Scott’s hand and thank him from the bottom of my heart. There were no tears\, but my eyes did get a little watery. Approx. value – $800

SUMMARY:OCSC - Those Awkward Teenage Years
DESCRIPTION:We’ve done young whiskies. We’ve done mature whiskies. But what about the ones in the middle? Unlike with people\, the teenage years are whisky’s sweetspot: beginning to show the nuances of maturity without being stodgy\, and still (mostly) affordable. We’ve assembled a selection of whiskies from 13 to 19\, to see what these adolescents have to offer. Of course\, these are not just your average liquor store expressions (would we do that to you?): we’ve got a discontinued favorite\, a highly collectible limited edition\, and the Whisky Bible 2014 Whisky of the Year. If we priced this at current market value\, the whisky alone would be nearly $40 (it’s like getting dinner for free). \nCragganmore 2003 SMWS 37.88\nBowmore 2001 14yr. Hepburn’s Choice for K&L\nLaphroaig 15yr. 200th Anniversary Edition\nOld Pulteney 17yr.\nFettercairn 1996 18yr. Signatory\nGlenmorangie Ealanta 1993 19yr. (Private Edition #4) \n$45 Whisky and dinner\n$20 Dinner only \nMenu options:\nHamburger/Cheeseburger/Veggieburger\nBlackened Mahi on Grilled Sourdough\nTurkey Wrap\nClassic Reuben\nWith a choice of Fries\, Coleslaw\, or Fruit. \nWe need to sell a minimum of 25 tickets by the 10th to make this event go\, so please get your RSVPS in early. If we continue our streak of sell-outs\, we’ll got to the vaults for a tasty bonus bottle.\nAs always\, reservations are required- no walk-ins. \nCigars by the fire pit\, after the last pour\, for those inclined.\nWe will be outside\, under the overhang\, heaters available. Come wind\, rain\, sleet\, or snow.

SUMMARY:A Taste of History
DESCRIPTION:It’s a WOW event with a $65 pricing that says “Y’all Come”! \nAndy Smith (LA\, OC\, SD Scotch Club)\,  is flying in to Atlanta to lead our tasting of some old single malts.   Jack has been saving a bottle of 1968 Glen Keith and Andy has saved a sherry cask 1969 Glenrothes for a special occasion\, and this is it.   To pair with the Glen Keith\, Tom Lobonc has brought a rare bottling from the same distillery\, a 1977 Glenisla\, which is the name of the peated experiment they did only in the ’70s. \nIf wasn’t enough\, an Ardmore 30\, Ardbeg 19 Traigh Bhan\, and Bruichladdich Black Arts 06. will round out the lineup.  This is a DO NOT MISS event.  These bottles are being sacrificed below market value and we can guarantee that you’ll never get a deal as good as this. \nDelray Diner is a beautiful restaurant with lots of parking. It is ¼ mile east of the I-75 Delk Rd exit\, turn left into Delray’s entrance. Were this whisky flight poured at H&F or Rathburn’s\, it would cost at least $150… We’d like to sell-out this event with 40 participants. Please buy your tickets online soon as we anticipate a full-house. Bring a friend as “good whisky is made great when shared among friends”.

DESCRIPTION:Denver Scotch Club is back\, and we’ve got our biggest and best event yet.  There will be not one\, but two special guests.  The evening will include light Indian food\, including vegetarian and chicken appetizers\, from Little India.  Koray Ozdemir\, the infamous whisky rep from Paul John Whisky in India\, will tell us about the distillery\, Indian Whisky\, and why you will like it just as much as you like single malt scotch (and without the tariffs.)\nKoray will generously be sharing seven expressions of Paul John should you also wish to enjoy the whisky (hint: yes you do!) \nIn addition to the Paul John presentation\, Andy Smith\, president of Scotch Club (of which Denver Scotch Club is the newest member)\, will be on hand to discuss all things whisky\, including the history of the club\, the magnificent whiskies and events of the past\, and great ideas for the future.  It will be pictures\, videos\, and drams!  In addition\, Andy will have a special surprise pour for those who remember the most about Paul John whisky at the end of the night. \nThanks to the generous whisky donations from Paul John\, we only need charge for food and other expenses\, so we’re offering a special deal… with every ticket purchase you may bring one additional person\, WHO IS NEW TO THE CLUB for free.  You can split the cost if you want\, or you can opt not to bring an extra (but why wouldn’t you!)  So go out and find someone that may like great whisky. \nThe Whisky\nPaul John Nirvana\nPaul John Brilliance\nPaul John Edited\nPaul John Bold\nPaul John Classic\nPaul John Peated\nPaul John Christmas Edition 2019

SUMMARY:Rhum Ron Rum Part 2
DESCRIPTION:“Think rum\, think Caribbean\, think 90-degrees”  Rum is a spirit that’s distilled either from fermented molasses (a by-product from sugar refining making) or freshly-pressed sugar cane juice. As it’s a delightful flight\, do please join us and bring a friend as “good whisky (and RUM) is made great when shared among friends.”

SUMMARY:Atlanta Burns Supper with Brown Forman
DESCRIPTION:Price all Inclusive \nYOU ARE INVITED to help us celebrate Robert Burns’ 261st birthday!  Due to the initiative of Amber Aristy\, Brown-Forman’s GA executive\, Atlanta will be joining in the worldwide observation of Rabbie’s birthday with a memorial dinner tasting. \nOur evening will feature a 4-course dinner prepared by chefs Shaun Doty and Lance Gummere as well as a welcoming cocktail and appetizers. \nDid I mention 6 single malts from 3 of Scotland’s top distilleries? In 2016\, Brown-Forman purchased the BenRiach\, GlenDronach and  Glenglassaugh malt whisky distilleries. They are 3 drams that make for a great way to celebrate Rabbie’s birthday!  From BenRiach (Speyside)\, we’ll taste 10-year\, 21-year Classic and 21-year Temporis. We’ll add GlenDronach (Highland) 12-year The Original (*if our shipment arrives in time\, GD-15 or GD-18 will be substituted for GD-12). From Glenglassaugh (Highland)\, let’s try Revival and\nEvolution. After adding a bagpiper\, swordsman\, and poets\, you’re assured of having a splendid evening\, one that would make old Rabbie proud. \nSo\, do please come along and bring a friend! Often referred to as “The Bard of Ayrshire”\, Robert Burns (1759-1796) wrote Auld Lang Syne; A Red\, Red Rose; A Man’s a Man for A’ That; To a Louse; To a Mouse; The Battle of Sherramuir; Tam o’ Shanter; and Ae Fond Kiss. In August 1787\, Lady Catherine Bruce knighted the late Robert Burns at Clackmannan Tower with the sword of her illustrious ancestor\, Robert the Bruce.  As neither the Stuart or Hanover clan thought much of the Bruces\, Rabbie remains a commoner.

SUMMARY:Cigars and Scotch
DESCRIPTION:Proprietor Harvey and Manager Bryan are opening the door for an evening of good Bourbon\, Rye and Cigars. After you add your favorite stogy\, you’ll have a winning formula: Fine Cigars + Good Whisky + Great Friends = An Grand Event @ Maxwell’s Cigar Bar! May I suggest that you grab a friend or two and head over to Maxwell’s Cigar Bar? Note new address (1/4 mile away). \nTHIS DOG WILL HUNT!   We’ve assembled the finest whisky flight that we’ve ever offered for $30.  Why?  It would be great to gather a crowd of cigar-loving single malt aficionados for fun evening at MAXWELL’S CIGAR BAR in Woodstock.  Speyburn Bradan Orach will lead things off. We don’t see much of it in our market\, so let’s enjoy the opportunity. \nLoch Lomond is a great distillery but not-much-talked-about. If you see a bottle of The Original or 12-yr\, be sure to pick it up.  Michael Henry is doing great things over there. \nTormore 14 is up next. It is the darling of the Chivas Bros. distilleries and one that you need to get to know. \nHailing from Brittany\, France\, Armorik Double Maturation has been aged in 2 types of casks.  It’s an excellent new single malt. \nCotswolds was brought to live by American Dan Szor and the late James Swan\, Ph.D. Without question\, it’s the best English malt distillery and one to keep an eye on. \nBattlehill?  Yes\, Peter Currie has done it again: Bunnahabhain 6 cask strength is great! See\, it really is quite a flight. \nAnd\, what’s even better\, you’re invited! So\, do please join us and bring a friend\,  because “good whisky is made great when shared among friends”.
